Privacy Policy
Updated: July 27, 2026
ASIA Members Club (“AMC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by QICE Capital Partners Limited, trading as ASIA Members Club, Unit B, 12/F, Hang Seng Causeway Bay Building, 28 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
AMC reviews requests and, where appropriate, introduces an Applicant to one Curator whom AMC believes may be worth meeting. AMC is currently operating a soft-launch service and is developing a Member App.
Trust, privacy, and discretion are central to how AMC works. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.
By using our website, forms, payment flow, WhatsApp communications, emails, introduction service, Member App when available, or related services (together, the “Service”), you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you use AMC, we may collect:
- your name and email address;
- your WhatsApp number or other contact information;
- your city, destination, travel plans, timing, and availability;
- your occupation, company, role, professional background, and public profile links;
- the request you submit and the context behind it;
- the kind of person, perspective, or conversation you are looking for;
- information relevant to deciding whether a proposed introduction would be useful to both people;
- membership status and Member App account information when available;
- feedback, follow-up notes, support requests, and communications with AMC;
- referral information;
- payment-related records received from our payment provider; and
- anything else you choose to provide.
Please do not send information that is unnecessary for your request or that you do not want AMC to use in reviewing, sourcing, or arranging an introduction.
We do not ordinarily ask for passport numbers, government identity numbers, precise home addresses, account passwords, full card details, bank login information, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Request and introduction information
To review a request, AMC may ask what you are trying to understand, enter, change, or move forward; why the conversation matters; the timing you have in mind; and what would make the introduction worthwhile.
Before payment, AMC may describe a proposed Curator to the Applicant in non-identifying terms, such as the Curator’s general background, city, relevant experience, and why AMC believes the conversation may matter.
AMC may give a potential Curator limited information about the Applicant and request so the Curator can decide whether to meet. This may include the Applicant’s general background, city, timing, purpose, and relevant context. AMC aims to disclose only what is reasonably necessary for that decision.
The Curator’s identity and direct contact details are normally disclosed only after payment and when AMC opens the private introduction channel.
Curator information
For Curators, we may collect a name, photo, city, profession, topics, public profile, biography, availability, meeting preferences, interests, feedback, and the kinds of people or requests the Curator may be open to.
AMC does not operate a public Curator directory. We may feature selected Curators publicly only where they have authorised the relevant use of their name, image, quotation, profession, topics, city, or story.
Member information and Member App
An Applicant may become a Duet Member after a completed in-person meeting where both the Applicant and Curator give positive feedback and no trust or safety concern prevents membership.
During the soft launch, Duet is a membership identity and, when available, a right to access the Member App. It does not include a fixed number of introductions. Future requests remain subject to separate review and pricing.
When the Member App becomes available, we may collect account, request, communication, preference, usage, performance, and diagnostic information needed to operate and improve it.
AMC may maintain a limited private record of a Member’s prior requests, introductions, preferences, feedback, and relevant context so that future requests are not treated as if AMC is meeting the Member for the first time. This record is private to AMC and is not a public profile or directory.
Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. AMC does not store your full card number or full payment credentials.
We may receive limited payment information, including:
- name and email;
- billing information where collected;
- amount and currency;
- product purchased;
- payment, refund, dispute, or chargeback status;
- customer and checkout identifiers; and
- transaction timestamps.
The payment provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply to its processing.
Communications
AMC communicates primarily through WhatsApp and email. We may retain communications as reasonably needed to review requests, coordinate introductions, provide continuity, maintain safety and trust, resolve disputes, and keep appropriate business records.
WhatsApp and email providers are third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Website and technical information
When you visit our website or later use the Member App, we may automatically receive limited technical information, such as:
- IP address;
- browser, device, and operating-system type;
- pages or screens viewed;
- referring link;
- approximate location inferred from IP address;
- date and time of access;
- interactions, performance, crash, and diagnostic data; and
- cookie or similar technology identifiers.
AMC currently does not use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising tools. If we later introduce analytics, cookies, or marketing technologies, we will update our notices and seek consent where required.
Information from referrals and public sources
A trusted contact may refer you or suggest that you may be relevant to a request. AMC may also review publicly available professional information, such as a LinkedIn profile, company biography, portfolio, website, publication, or other public source.
We use such information only where reasonably relevant to reviewing fit, verifying context, protecting trust and safety, or providing the Service.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- receive, save, and review requests;
- ask follow-up questions or reframe a request;
- decide whether AMC can serve a request;
- determine the applicable One Application tier and price;
- identify and contact a potential Curator;
- give each person enough context to decide whether to meet;
- provide a non-identifying Curator description before payment;
- arrange and open a private introduction channel;
- coordinate timing and follow up on whether a meeting occurred;
- collect feedback and determine Duet membership eligibility;
- operate and improve the Member App when available;
- maintain limited Member context for future requests;
- process payments, partial refunds, disputes, and chargebacks;
- communicate through WhatsApp, email, or other agreed channels;
- provide support and keep operational records;
- protect trust, safety, privacy, and service quality;
- detect fraud, misuse, extraction, or unauthorised activity;
- enforce our Terms of Service and product-specific agreements;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or security obligations; and
- create aggregated or de-identified reporting and analytics.
AMC does not sell personal information.
AMC does not use personal information for third-party advertising marketplaces or cross-context behavioural advertising.
3. Human Judgment and AI-Assisted Processing
AMC may use OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek services to assist with organising, summarising, or comparing request information.
AMC applies the following working rules:
- direct identifiers such as name, LinkedIn URL, email, and WhatsApp number are not intentionally sent to these models;
- OpenAI or Anthropic may receive request text after direct identifiers have been removed or replaced;
- DeepSeek receives only a structured, manually redacted summary rather than the original request;
- contextual details may still make a request indirectly identifiable, so this processing should not be understood as guaranteed anonymity;
- automated tools assist AMC but do not make the final decision about accepting a request or choosing a Curator; and
- AMC does not authorise these providers to use submitted information for their own model training, subject to the applicable service terms and configuration.
AMC does not currently offer a separate opt-out from this assisted processing. If you do not want request information processed in this way, do not submit the request and contact us before providing personal information.
4. How We Share Information
AMC does not publish a Member directory, sell user lists, or make Member or Curator profiles publicly searchable.
We may share information in the following limited ways.
With a potential or confirmed Curator
AMC may share limited Applicant and request information needed for the Curator to decide whether there is a genuine reason to meet and to prepare for the conversation.
With the Applicant
Before payment, AMC may share a non-identifying description of the proposed Curator. After payment and opening the private introduction channel, AMC may disclose the Curator’s identity and contact information as needed for the introduction.
With service providers
We use providers that may process information on our behalf, including payment, hosting, database, email, messaging, security, infrastructure, and AI providers. Examples may include Stripe, Vercel, Notion, Supabase, Resend, Meta/WhatsApp, OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek.
We aim to provide each provider only the information reasonably needed for its role.
For legal, safety, or business reasons
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request;
- enforce agreements;
- protect AMC, an Applicant, Member, Curator, or another person;
- investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, disputes, or chargebacks; or
- support a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or sale of assets.
With consent or at your direction
We may share information where you ask or authorise us to do so.
Public quotations and features
AMC will not publicly feature your identifiable name, photo, quotation, profession, city, or story without permission. A WhatsApp or email confirmation may serve as written permission where it clearly identifies the material and intended use.
Aggregated or de-identified information
We may use or share information that does not reasonably identify an individual for internal analysis, operations, planning, product improvement, or investor reporting.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, AMC may rely on:
- steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
- performance of a contract;
- legitimate interests in reviewing requests, operating and improving AMC, protecting trust and safety, and managing the business;
- consent, where required or appropriate;
- compliance with legal obligations; and
- protection of vital interests in a genuine emergency.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether the processing is reasonably necessary and balanced against your rights.
6. Communications and Marketing
AMC may send transactional and service communications about your request, introduction, payment, feedback, membership, Member App access, or changes to the Service.
AMC may introduce a newsletter, Member Dispatch, or other non-essential communication in the future. Where required, we will request appropriate consent and provide a way to opt out.
Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service communications.
7. Cookies and Analytics
AMC may use essential cookies or similar technologies required to operate the website or Member App.
If AMC later uses non-essential analytics, preference, or marketing technologies, we will provide appropriate notice and request consent where required.
You may also manage cookies through your browser or device, although disabling essential technologies may affect the Service.
8. Data Security
AMC takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised or accidental access, loss, misuse, alteration, erasure, or disclosure.
No website, app, payment provider, messaging platform, AI provider, email provider, database, or internet transmission is completely secure. AMC cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for using secure devices, passwords, accounts, and communication channels.
9. Data Retention
AMC keeps personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
As a general approach:
- an unaccepted or inactive request may be retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction;
- One Application, payment, introduction, and dispute records may be retained for the period reasonably needed for service continuity, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and legal claims;
- Member records may be retained while membership remains active and for a reasonable period afterward;
- Curator records may be retained while the Curator remains active or potentially relevant and for a reasonable period afterward;
- communications may be retained where needed for service continuity, trust, safety, or dispute resolution; and
- public material authorised by a participant may remain available until permission is withdrawn or the material is no longer needed, subject to reasonable archival and technical limitations.
Where personal information is no longer needed, AMC will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it, unless retention is required or permitted for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legitimate business purposes.
10. International Transfers
AMC operates across jurisdictions and uses providers in different countries. Personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed outside your place of residence, including outside Hong Kong.
Where required, AMC will take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, technical, or organisational safeguards.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:
- request access to personal information AMC holds about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of information you provided;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of non-essential marketing; and
- complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
To make a request, contact hello@asiamembers.club.
AMC may ask you to verify your identity. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
12. EEA and UK Users
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law and may complain to your local supervisory authority.
13. California Residents
If California privacy law applies to AMC and your information, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information.
AMC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
14. Mainland China Users
AMC primarily serves people outside Mainland China but may serve a limited number of Mainland China users.
Where applicable law requires additional notice, consent, or procedures for processing or transferring personal information, AMC may provide a supplemental notice or request additional consent.
15. Age Policy
AMC is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
16. No Public Directory
AMC does not operate a public Member or Curator directory. Your request, membership record, and private AMC context are not made publicly searchable through AMC.
17. Changes to This Policy
AMC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top and may provide additional notice where changes are material.
